“Solutions for an endangered planet” is what industrial biotechnology seeks and offers. Technical innovations based on nature’s toolbox are intended to help “biologise” industry – in other words, to adapt it to the natural cycles of our planet. Many biotechnical solutions to climate change are already fully developed. However, it is taking too long to introduce them on a large scale. This will be the focus of INDUSTRIA BIOTEC, which will once again take place in Berlin in 2024.
